Near Jackson, Wyoming, 710 acres of land was owned by an individual with dreams of creating a unique golf course and fly fishing resort. The “Wyoming Club” planned for “Cutthroat and Golf” later became 3 Creek Ranch.
Initial plans envisioned an 18 hole golf course, “rustic” golf clubhouse and lodge, a number of cabin sites, and 35 acre “ranch estates” designed to protect 3 Spring Creeks with exceptional fly fishing and existing deer and elk habitat.
The property was eventually sold to an experienced developer, however, much of the original plan and golf routing remained intact. The overall concept was greatly enhanced and implemented with the talent of golf course architect Rees Jones.
